HALO JEPARA- The management of Muslimat NU Jepara branch held the peak of the 79th Harlah event with the theme “Caring for Tradition, Strengthening Independence, and Calming Civilization” which was held at Mutia Vie Cafe & Resto, Senenan, Tahunan, last weekend (6/28/2025).

The workshop was attended by the Chairperson of Tanfidziyah PCNU KH. Charis Rohman, the Regent of Jepara who was represented by the Head of the Kesra Section of the Jepara Regional Secretariat Agus Bambang Lelono, public communication consultant Wahidah Syuaib, representatives of political parties, community organizations and hundreds of Muslimat cadres, and also closed the various series of activities that had been held to enliven the 79th Harlah Muslimat this year.

Several activities that have been held include talk shows, thematic studies, donations for TPQ institutions and the general public, women’s fiqh studies, various competitions for PAUD children and PAUD and TPQ teachers including MC competitions, choir competitions, PAUD children’s vocal competitions, cooking competitions for branch administrators.

In addition, there are also health checks with blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid tests, family planning services and blood donations, mass hauls, completing the Quran to cooperative training.

Head of Social Welfare of the Jepara Regional Secretariat Agus Bambang Lelono said that Muslimat NU Jepara has a strategic role in determining the future of the nation. Because Muslimat NU can educate and protect its family members to become a healthy generation of the nation with noble morals, following the Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah and free from drugs.

“The local government greatly appreciates the role of Muslimat in maintaining and advancing Jepara,” he said.

The Chairperson of Tanfidziyah PCNU Jepara KH Charis Rohman expressed his hope that teachers from among Muslimat will educate their students with joy and optimism. According to him, this is important so that the young generation of Nahdlatul Ulama can face the future brightly.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of PC Muslimat NU Jepara Hj Noor Ainy expressed her respect and gratitude to all parties who have helped the series of events for this harlah to be successfully held.

She also advised all administrators and staff from sub-districts to branches to be able to advance Muslimat activities for the benefit of the community, especially women in Jepara Regency.

“All Muslimat administrators must always strive to help the community according to their respective fields,” she hoped.

Chairperson of the Public Speaking Workshop Committee Farida Ahmad hopes that this activity can provide understanding, techniques, and practical experience to Muslimat cadres when speaking in public. This workshop is also expected to foster Muslimat cadres who are confident, communicative, and able to convey positive things in accordance with Islamic values ​​and NU culture.

“Public speaking is also important as a means of preaching so that the message conveyed can be better accepted by the community,” said Farida Ahmad.

One of the Ruqoyyah participants felt proud to be able to participate in the Public Speaking Workshop held by Muslimat NU. This public speaking skill will be applied during religious activities in the community.
